"Broken Vessel Made Whole"
The vessel is a self portrait. I have had a very challenging life. Most of the horrible and challenging experiences that can happen to an individual have happened to me or my family. I was a broken vessel, so broken that I felt I would never heal.
Through much prayer and faith in Jesus Christ, I have felt the healing power of the Savior’s atonement. I am whole. As seen in the painting, though the storms rage all around me, though there are impossible mountains to climb, the Savior is the master potter, and can take a broken vessel and make it whole and beautiful again.

"Our Savior"
‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’ – John 3:16
This painting of the Savior, by Camille Cornaby illustrates the entire plan of salvation. The resurrected Christ stands before us, His hand over His heart revealing the nail prints from the crucifixion—a symbol of His infinite love for each of us. Through His Atonement and Resurrection, He has overcome the world. The rays radiating from Him represent each of us, united in His glory. Tiny galaxies in His eyes reflect His ability to see all of creation and His constant awareness of every soul.
In the upper left, the earth is depicted, with the Star of Bethlehem above it symbolizing His birth. A gold star in the center of America marks one of the places of His promised return.
