The story
The Broken Vessel is a self portrait. I have had a very challenging life. Most of the horrible and challenging experiences that can happen to an individual have happened to me or my family. I was a broken vessel, so broken that I felt I would never heal. Through much prayer and faith in Jesus Christ, I have felt the healing power of the Savior’s atonement. I am whole. As seen in the painting, though the storms rage all around me, though there are impossible mountains to climb, the Savior is the master potter, and can take a broken vessel and make it whole and beautiful again.
