My Records Testify of Christ
By Camille Cornaby

We live in such a confusing world, with so many voices. Sometimes it’s hard to know what is even true.
But the scriptures in Isaiah, Revelation, and the Book of Mormon speak of what is happening and what will happen. The sorrows and the joys. What a journey we are on!
Recently, I felt impressed to go back and reread my own journals. I have kept a journal since I was 18 years old.
As I began reading my entries, I was overcome with emotion. I felt so grateful that I had chosen to draw close to Heavenly Father and the Savior at such a tender age.
My journey has been more than hard. I marvel at how many times I have been rescued during such challenging times. The Lord has indeed carried me.
I just celebrated my 81st birthday. I am single, do not own my own home, nor do I have many of the material things that those around me have. And yet, I am the happiest woman I know.
I have written down my journey through the wilderness, the mountains I have climbed, and the storms that have beaten upon me. I have felt God’s love. I have lived on His miracles for over 40 years.
I have chosen to follow the Savior and keep the covenants I have made in the temple so that I can live in peace, love, and joy, and return to His presence when my time on earth is finished.
I know that my journals will bless the lives of my children and grandchildren and help strengthen them on their own journeys.
What can you write about that will strengthen you and those around you?
