I Know My Savior Lives

My Personal Testimony of Jesus Christ

By Wendy Castleton

There is nothing more important in my life than my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love Him with all my heart, and I know He lives!

My testimony isn’t just something I’ve been taught. It’s something I’ve experienced through years of prayer, challenges, miracles, and sacred moments when I’ve felt His love so deeply that I couldn’t hold back the tears.

I’ve come to know Him as my Savior, Redeemer, Healer, Teacher, and Friend.

I know that I am a daughter of loving Heavenly Parents, and so are you! We each have divine worth, gifts, and a beautiful purpose here on earth. Remembering who we are and whose we are changes everything.

Life hasn’t always been easy. I’ve experienced financial struggles, heartache, discouragement, grief, and times when I’ve questioned my own worth. But through it all, I’ve learned that our circumstances do not determine our value, and our struggles do not define who we are.

Jesus Christ knows us perfectly. He understands our pain, our fears, our weaknesses, and even the feelings we can’t put into words. Because of His infinite Atonement, we can repent, forgive, heal, change, and begin again.

I’ve felt His love profoundly in the temple, experienced His comfort during times of grief, and witnessed His hand in countless answers to prayer. Some miracles have been extraordinary, while others have come through simple acts of kindness, unexpected conversations, and quiet impressions from the Holy Ghost.

I’ve learned that the more I look for God’s hand in my life, the more I recognize that He’s been there all along.

One of the greatest miracles I’ve witnessed is how Jesus Christ can change hearts. I’ve seen His healing power in my marriage, my family relationships, and especially within myself. He’s teaching me to let go of fear, judgment, and the need to control things, and instead choose faith, forgiveness, patience, and love.

I know that families can be together forever through Jesus Christ. I know that death is not the end, that the Holy Ghost guides us, and that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers.

I believe each of us has a divine purpose. One of my greatest desires is to help others recognize their eternal worth and discover the peace, hope, healing, and joy that come through Jesus Christ.

My testimony is simple:

I know Jesus Christ lives. I know He is the Son of God, my Savior and Redeemer. I know His Atonement is real, His love is unconditional, and His power to heal and transform our lives is available to each of us.

I know our Heavenly Parents love us beyond anything we can comprehend.

And I know that no matter what we’ve experienced, where we’ve been, or how far away we may feel, we are never beyond the reach of our Savior’s love.

If there’s one thing I hope you’ll remember, it’s this:

You are known. You are loved. You are a precious child of God. And through Jesus Christ, there is always hope.

I love my Savior with all my heart. I’m so grateful for His infinite love, mercy, and grace, and I want to spend my life helping others come to know Him too.

With love,

Wendy Castleton
